The suspect POO, who was found in Nicosia with a total of 65 grams of cannabis-type drugs, 1 gram on him and 11 packages ready for sale at his home, was brought to court.
Police officer Kağan Kurtbir shared the information at the court.
Kurtbir said that the suspect POO was on trial for the crimes of “Importing, Saving and Giving Illegal Drugs, Cannabis.”
The police stated that the suspect was identified by the Narcotic teams on September 2 at around 3:00 pm, and as a result of the control, about 1 gram of cannabis type drugs were detected and he was arrested.
Police stated that during the search of the suspect’s house in Nicosia on the same day, he had a total of 65 grams of cannabis-type narcotic, 11 packages of which were ready for sale, and it was taken as an indication.
Suspect admits to selling 3 packs. The police told the court that the suspect confessed that he had bought 70 grams of the aforementioned substances on August 26, and that he had packaged them himself, and that he had sold 3 packages of these packages for 3 thousand TL.
Regarding the matter, the police stated that the person to whom the suspect supplied the substances and the people to whom he sold the substances were sought, and that the substances taken as a sign would be sent to the laboratory, and demanded that the suspect be detained in the police for 3 days in the first place.
Evaluating the testimony given in her presence, Judge Jale Ergüden ordered the suspect to be kept in police custody for 3 days for investigation purposes.
