We aim to deliver 4G to 70 percent of the country in one year – Erhan Arıklı

The Council of Ministers decided to hold a tender for 4G/5G mobile communication technologies.

According to YENİDÜZEN, Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı said that the tender price is 31 million Dollars and that they aim to deliver 4G technology to 70 percent of the country in 1 year.

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette dated September 5, the tender will be made by the Information Technologies and Communications Authority.

The operators who win the tender will be given a Limited Number of Usage Rights Authorization Certificate by the Authority.

According to YENİDÜZEN, Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı said that they aim to deliver 4G technology to 70 percent of the country in 1 year. 

Tender price 31 million USD, stating that they expect two companies to participate in the tender.

Arıklı also stated that the tender price has been determined as 31 million dollars, and that each company will need to invest 30-40 million dollars while switching to new technology.
