The full text of the written statement is as follows:

“Due to the fact that the ministry has not found a solution to the problems experienced in the delivery of health services for a while, our union will enter the action process as of September 26, 2022.

TRNC MINISTER OF HEALTH MONITORING, GÜRÇAĞ ALTUĞRA

When you took office, we gave you a letter containing health problems and solutions. In the intervening three and a half months, aside from taking concrete steps towards the solution of the problems, it is essential to prepare a regulation that regulates the purchase of services in specialties such as Endocrinology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Ear Nose and Throat Diseases, which is essential and requires urgent service purchase, and purchase services under appropriate conditions; you did not go to the purchase.

As a result, you have disregarded public health by disrupting health services by causing endocrinology patients and patients with diseases in the field of plastic surgery specialization to not receive service in the state hospital.

Before the end of the pandemic, you watched the decision to end the services provided in the emergency hospital and follow the Covid 19 (+) patients in the emergency services and Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital services, to infect other patients and service personnel, and increase the number of deaths with the increase in cases.

Apart from employing physicians needed in the emergency services of state hospitals, you brought the services provided in the emergency services to the point of collapse with arbitrary assignments.

Not only did you not take a step to solve the problems of the assistant doctors, you also underpaid the shift fees by forcing them to keep watch in order to fill the shortage of doctors in the emergency services.

Finally, you want to carry out the decision to move some services in Dr.Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital to the Emergency Hospital built for emergencies, with persistent pressures up to mobbing because;

1) Until the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital administrative board meets regularly once a week and makes a decision on the operation of the hospital and the solution of the problems,

2) Until concrete steps are taken for service purchase,

3) Until they give up the pressure and the decision to move some services to the emergency hospital by force,

4) Until the assistants stop being on duty in the emergency services forcibly,

Our union has decided to take action.

From 26 September 2022

Failure to append signatures in the morning when entering and leaving work,

Stopping all external services of the Anesthesiology and Reanimation Clinic, excluding the operating room, intensive care units and emergency services,

We have decided not to do Gynecology and Obstetrics outpatient clinics at Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital.

If the necessary steps are not taken, the actions will continue in the coming days.
