Governor Hope Uzodimma partners with RMAFC to boost Imo revenue


Governor Hope Uzodimma partners with the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) from Abuja, led by Chief Adebayo Fari, in boosting the State’s revenue and economy.

The members were on a mission to access government’s efforts in terms of policies, projects and programs aimed at enhancing the diversification of economy especially away from non oil revenue businesses and Federal revenue.

Addressing the visitors, Governor Hope Uzodimma stated that the Administration has risen up to the occasion of  reducing dependency on oil revenue by the revitalization of various moribund state institutions and appreciating the impact of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) on emerging economies.

The Governor therefore urged the Organization for more support in empowering SME businesses in the State and creating more jobs for the youths.

Speaking earlier, the leader of the delegation Mr. Adebayo Fari, commended Governor Uzodimma for the hand of partnership and support, added that they are well able and prepared to work with the State Government.
