Herald Poems: Broken Dreams

Sometimes in life we tend to give our all only for us to get the worst. I just want you to know that the breakthrough you have been seeking is not far away anymore, it’s closer than you think. As you read this poem may you NEVER GIVE UP on what you believe. You can read all my poems here.

Sitting on the rooftop
In the middle of the night,
Looking at the cozy sky with the star
And moon shining bright.

I can’t help but wonder
Where it all went wrong,
Nothing seems to workout.

It’s all broken dreams,
Everything I give my best and all,
Worst result is all I get,
Physically I’m healthy but
I feel numb and dead inside.

Life why have you chosen to be unfair
To me? or am I my destined
To fail?

No, failure is never my portion,
I will never give up,
I will never quit trying,
I will never surrender,
I will keep fighting.

I know my hard time is temporary
And my success will be permanent
I will never stop until I have succeeded

It’s just a poem of a boy who dreams
Was broken and shattered
At a tender age.
