Herald Poems: Pills

My second poem in 2021, I hope you find it interesting. You can find all my poems here.

Sometimes life is a mess,
Looking for something real then I found it,
I over take it when I can’t take it anymore.

Had a conversation with depression on the Other side,
My anxiety flows like tsunami,
I take it to fix all of the damage,
Never seen a hell so cold,
I can hear the devil calling,
I know the angels are watching.

I try to be a better person that I can,
But I always come out as being nothing,
My mistakes wipe all the right I have done,
Maybe someday I may stand for something good.

These pills is killing me softly,
Sometimes I don’t know how to feel,
Stress is tearing me to pieces,
Feels like I am going to die every second of the day
So I have to get High.

I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the pills,
But if I keeping taking these pills, I won’t be here,
The tiny voice in me wants to talk,
But I’m not really up for the conversations.

Too low in my life,
I can’t help myself,
I can’t feel myself,
There is nothing like feeling uncertainty.

Called for help but all I get is judgements,
Now, I have to walk through life alone,
Everyday my heart is racing,
I have to stay with these pills till it finishes.
