Herald Poems: I Just Want You To Be Mine

My first poem in 2021, I hope you find it interesting. You can find all my poems here.

Somebody said you got a friend,
Now that you are not mine,
I have Been standing in the Mirror,
Trying to figure out were I went wrong.

I was looking for something more
When I fell in love with you,
I told you you’re mine And you said I’m yours,
I was wrong to think I’m right.

Now I’m a sinking ship that is burning,
I struggle to sleep when I am alone,
I can’t get you out of my mind,
I will give it all to get you back.

Nothing at all ever feels right,
Nothing is true, and no one is you,
You are stuck in my mind,
I can’t live without you,
You’re caught in my head.

When I was feeling down,
You always picked me up,
I’m all messed up,
I’m so out of line.

Hold me one more time,
I’m falling apart,
Your heart is my home,
And I’m never letting go.

If it’s real,
And if it’s true,
And if our love is wrong,
Then I don’t want to be right,
I just want you to be mine.
