Herald Poems: Wish We Never Met

Change like they said is constant. Sometimes in life we lose someone we thought we will never lose. They leave us with nothing but memories of them which will lead us to questioning where it all went wrong. I just want you to know that time heals all wounds but if only you want it to. If you keep picking at old wounds, they will never heal and will always keep on hurting you. So, give it time and don’t pick at it. Hopefully you find this poem interesting. You can read all of my poems here.

I told myself I will be fine when you left,
But I knew from the very Moment
That I lied.

All I need is your love in my life,
I know there are somethings
We need to talk about.

Maybe some part of you just hates me,
And I don’t know how to stop it,
Every time I try, it comes back in waves.

I heard there was someone,
Right now my mind is crazy,
But I know he don’t deserve your love.

You don’t know what it’s like to fall
In love with you,
I am going through old messages again,
Feeling sad knowing you will
Never be mine again.

I am finding it hard to forget you,
I still hear your voice in my head,
I miss your smiles,
I miss your hugs,
I miss your kiss.

Now I wish we never met,
So when I lay in bed at night
I wouldn’t have anything
To be sad about.

While I am cleaning up your memories,
I know he is busy taking off Your dress,
Is it too late to turn around?
If I come back now would you even care?
