I never believed in true love till I met you,
All I had in me was a frozen heart
With broken dreams.
Love, they say is like stars,
They are millions out there,
But only one will shine for you.
I was lost so deep inside my shell,
Till you came and save me from myself.
It’s amazing how you can speak
Right to my heart.
You lend me your shoulders to cry on,
You gave me a hand to hold unto,
I used to be afraid of the world
But with you I have learnt to let it out.
The smile on your face lets me know
That you need me.
You came to me like the dawn through
The night, just shining like the sun.
You brought me out of depression,
You gave me help,
You gave me hope,
You gave me reasons to smile.
Because of my struggle, I swore that
I would always be good to you.
I just love waking up with you
Next to me.
I am jealous of the nights
That i don’t spend with you.
Waking up and seeing you lying
Next to me, I can’t help but smile,
It will be a good day simply because
I started it with you.
I don’t know if it hurts when you fell
From heaven, because you are an Angel.
You will never walk alone, because
I will always be there with you.
I promise to laugh with you until
We had to cry,
I need you forever, you are the one
who will always love me right,
I promise to love you right down
To our last goodbye.
